In August 2020, in the midst of Covid, we started offering scoops of ice cream from our studio’s service window—a 3-week pop-up to share the joy of ice cream with our neighbors. We were back the following year. In 2022 and 2023 we were back again for long and hot summers, every Saturday and Sunday. Now it’s 2024, our fourth year, still here to share the joy of ice cream.
BedStuy’s beloved LadyMooMoo still helps us greatly and we’re proud to continue to serve their delicious gourmet ice cream and sorbets, and of course we continue to work together on our own highly popular exclusive ice cream flavors.

Ice Cream Window’s Special Flavors:

STYRIAN delicious Styrian pumpkin seed oil w/ pine nuts in creamy vanilla, yes, delicious, the Gottscheers would know

WALDMEISTER Ridgewood’s German past brought back through this highly unique ice cream flavor, Waldmeister (Sweet Woodruff), the most German of all ice cream flavors, served to you as a subtly haunting gelato—we grew up with the sugary kids’ version, ours is a grown-up version

MAK Polish for “poppy seed”, with a hint of lemon zest, smaczny!

LINDEN only in June, during the bloom of Ridgewood’s linden trees

PRINCE POLO only on Pulaski Parade weekend, iykyk

ROSE ROSE HIP served late September, closing out the season

GLÜHWEIN and STOLLEN are special winter flavors, one a deliciously rich sorbet based on mulled wine, the other based on a traditional Christmas loaf, both being enjoyed at winter markets around central Europe, and brought to Ridgewood by immigrants many decades ago—the Christmas loaf features marzipan, dried fruits, and traditional Christmas spices, still available at Ridgewood’s own Rudy’s Bakery, where we get it from
